GMS is proud to provide qualified trainers with hands-on experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Our trainers are certified through the State of Arizona and meet all state prerequisites. They are friendly, knowledgeable and will make your training experience enjoyable.
We offer comprehensive introductory, recertification and continuing education training. All our training classes meet or exceed State of Arizona and Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) requirements. Classes help teach direct care workers how to positively sustain and improve the lives of those they serve with developmental disabilities. We want all direct care workers to have the knowledge they need to be successful.
GMS employees receive training at no cost with the exception of $20 for CPR and First Aid so they can begin their career as a direct care worker. We also offer affordable training to the community for a minimal fee (see class list for fees). Individuals not employed by GMS are welcome to register for classes. Classes are offered frequently to accommodate busy schedules.
Services provided in GMS orientation include notary and fingerprint application.
To register for a GMS training class, please call 480.633.8881 ext. 2
