Employee Benefits
The following benefits are available for all Guthrie Mainstream Services’ employees throughout the year:
Paid Sick Time (PST): Available to use after 90 days of employment and once accrued (rate of accrual is 1 hour per every 30 hours worked)
Full-Time Employee Benefits
Employees who work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for:
- Medical and Basic Group Life Benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
Full-time employees are also eligible to enroll in the following benefits:
- Dental
- Voluntary Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance
- Vision
- Legal Shield and identity theft coverage
Benefits are available on the first of the month following 60 days of service.
401(k) Plan
GMS recognizes the importance of saving for retirement and offers eligible employees a 401(k) plan.
The company 401k plan automatically goes into effect once a full-time employee has:
- passed one (1) year of service;
- reached the age of 21; and
- billed at least 1,000 hours.
Should you choose not to participate, you must notify HR and complete the opt out paperwork.
Eligibility, vesting, and all other matters relating to these plans are explained in the summary plan description that can be obtained from HR.
Part-Time Employee Benefits
Part time employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week are eligible to enroll in the following benefits:
- Dental
- Voluntary Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance
- Vision
- Legal Shield and identity theft coverages
Benefits are available on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
